Patriarchy is defined as "a system of society or government in which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it." When we think about patriarchy, we usually think about the systems that exist in the world. But what about the systems of patriarchy that exist INSIDE us? I brought in a powerful guest, Shannon Thompson, founder and visionary director of Shakti Rising, a non-profit social change organization transforming the lives of women, girls, and the larger community, to take part in this galvanizing conversation.
